Mike Simpson began his career in real estate and property management at the age of 24 when he purchased a mobile home community in Ohio County, Kentucky, with a partner. In the 30+ years since, Chandler Property Management has become a leader in in the industry in South Central Kentucky and beyond.
In 1997 Simpson joined forces with David Chandler, founder and owner of Chandler Property Management, as Executive Property Manager. Three years later, Chandler sold the management company to Simpson who retained the company name. On January 1, 2023, Simpson transitioned the name to Simpson Property Management and continues the same great service established the past 25 years.
Mike Simpson earned Bachelor and Master’s degrees from Western Kentucky University and is a licensed Broker with the Kentucky Real Estate Commission. Simpson has dedicated much of his life to community service and currently is in leadership positions with many local not-for-profits, including:
- College Heights Foundation, Chair
- WKU Student Life Foundation, Vice-Chair
- International Bluegrass Music Association, Chair
- Bowling Green/Warren County Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Chair
- Jack T. Wells Charitable Trust, Trustee
Additionally, Simpson has served as the past Chair of the Southcentral Community Foundation and the Bluegrass Music Museum and Hall of Fame.
